A collage of disabled artists creating and performing
Celebrate at City Gallery Wellington

As part of Disability Pride Week and the UN International Day of Disabled People on Saturday 3 December, we’re going to have a celebration at the City Gallery Wellington in the Civic Square  from 7pm.

Call for expressions of interest

We're calling for expressions of interest from creative people within the disability community here in Greater Wellington.

We’re looking for performers to share their creativity and skills that demonstrate that we as disabled people are proud of our place as citizens in Wellington. This may be through music, comedy, skits or other forms of entertainment. Each item could be five, ten or 20 minutes long.

Please send your expression of interest to Celebration Convenor: Bronwyn Hayward (bybronwyn@gmail.com).

There will be audio describers and sign language interpreters present. The venue is accessible too. Please advise of any accommodations.

Let's  make this an event to remember.
